My close friend Johanna Dalgleish has been dancing for as long as I have known her (and I have known her many moons). She recently launched an indiegogo campaign in support of her dance collaboration with Meagan O’Shea, titled ‘as yet unknown’ ; as they attempt to take their project to the next level.

The details of the break up are so boring, universal, mundane… even cliche… yet they are utterly all-consuming.  ‘as yet unknown’ chronicles the dissolution of a relationship and the navigation of loneliness, longing and picking up the pieces that follows.  For the past two years dancer Johanna Dalgleish and mid-career dancer and choreographer Meagan O’Shea have researched and collaborated out-of-pocket to create a new 25 minute solo about the process of finding oneself out of the wreckage of a break up.  Now we’re coming together to present our new work for the first time.
